Fiber Optics Group is dedicated to innovation, performance, and sustainability in fiber optics. Our mission is to meet the growing needs of technology industries with advanced fiber optic assemblies for complex or extreme environments, and associated optoelectronic systems and subsystems.

Our subsidiaries
Fiber Optics Group brings together two companies specializing in the fiber optics business :
- IDIL Fibres Optiques: a leading French photonics engineering company since 1995, specializing in the production of optical components and in the design, development, and assembly of complete optical systems for the Science, Defense & Industry (aeronautics, space, healthcare, agri-food, sensing, quantum, lasers).
- SEDI-ATI Fibres Optiques: a leading French company since 1972, specializing in the design and manufacture of optical fiber assemblies such as feedthroughs, couplers, bundles, deployable spools, etc., for complex or extreme environments, for the demanding defense, space, industrial, datacom, quantum, and medical markets.
Together, these entities have very strong technological and market synergies. They share a common expertise, recognized technical know-how, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Fiber Optics Group relies on a solid and diversified shareholder structure :
Majority shareholder through the Yotta Smart Industry (YSI) investment fund.
Dedicated to the development and decarbonization of French industrial SMEs.
Minority shareholder.
This industrial strategy holding company is owned by Jean-François Vinchant.

Our history
2024 • December
Acquisition of IDIL Fibres optiques, a specialist in the production of optical components and in the design, development and assembly of complete optical systems for the Science, Defense & Industry, including aeronautics, space, healthcare, agri-food, sensing, quantum, and lasers.
2023 • July
Creation of the group by YOTTA CAPITAL PARTNERS and JFVHS.
